The Diggers Foundation enthusiastically salutes Gardening Australia (GA) TV for its significant additional commitment to educating young gardeners! The depth of its programming and the range of its ideas are truly inspirational, filling a crucial vacuum that has existed since television began. The Foundation would like to publicly thank presenters Costa, Sophie and Jane who have presented numerous programs to inspire my generation to combat climate warming.
Diggers has also supported GA through advertising in its magazine for many years. We complement GA’s programming by educating gardeners through our onsite growing environments, workshops and masterclasses that provide hands-on learning, plus our many gardening books, online courses, blogs and fact sheets.
Diggers evolved from a for-profit garden company into a philanthropic garden charity in 2011, refocusing its magazine on educating members in organic gardening, growing heirloom vegetables and solving climate change – in short, being a leader in gardening education.
